RETURNS AND REFUNDS
The Wine Discoverer is a trading name of VinQuinn Limited, company number 08974493.
To discuss a cancellation, return or problem with your order, email hello@thewinediscoverer.co.uk.
CHANGING YOUR MIND
If you buy as a consumer, you may cancel your online order without giving a reason. Tell us before delivery or within 14 days after the day you or your nominated recipient receive the goods. If one order arrives in separate deliveries, this period runs from receipt of the last goods.
Email us with a clear statement that you wish to cancel, preferably including your name and order number. You do not need our permission to exercise your statutory cancellation right.
COLLECTION AND CHARGES
Returns are by prior arrangement and collection only. Contact us to arrange a suitable collection date and make the goods available promptly. Do not post or bring goods to our registered office.
For change-of-mind returns, the collection charge is £12 per collection, including VAT. This is a collection charge, not a cancellation or restocking fee.
Please keep the goods safe and use the original protective packaging where reasonably possible. You may inspect goods as you reasonably could in a shop. Where the law allows, we may reduce your refund to reflect a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them. Opening or consuming wine may substantially reduce its value. This does not affect your rights concerning faulty wine.
CANCELLATION REFUNDS
Because we arrange collection, we will issue your cancellation refund within 14 days after you tell us you are cancelling.
We will refund the cancelled goods and, if you cancel the whole order, any standard outbound delivery charge you paid. Additional costs for an upgraded delivery service are not refundable.
Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We do not charge a refund processing fee. The £12 change-of-mind collection charge remains payable; we will agree with you whether to deduct it from your refund or collect it separately.
FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS
Contact us if wine arrives damaged, is incorrect, appears corked or otherwise faulty, or does not match its description. Give your order number and explain the problem. Photographs may help where safe and relevant.
Please retain affected bottles and packaging where practicable until we advise you. Do not handle broken glass or post leaking or broken bottles.
Where goods are faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, we cover any necessary collection costs. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement or price reduction. Your normal short-term right to reject faulty goods lasts 30 days, and other statutory remedies can continue afterwards.
Your rights are not lost merely because a fault becomes apparent after opening a bottle. Where a refund is due following rejection of faulty goods, we will issue it without undue delay and within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to it.
BUSINESS PURCHASES
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right described above applies to consumers. For business or corporate purchases, contact us to discuss the applicable order terms.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
